Pray for Tools and Resources to Share the Gospel

"...For I am the LORD your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you 'Do not fear; I will help you'" (Isaiah 41:13, NIV).

Our hearts grieve as we continue to hear about what is happening in Haiti. The earthquake not only affected individuals, but it wreaked destruction on a cataclysmic scale, according to a pastor in Port-au-Prince who said "everything is gone and has to be rebuilt again."

Please pray for the country--for the relief efforts that are going on and for provisions to meet the needs of people. Pray for the delivery of food, water, and medical supplies to all the survivors. Pray for wisdom for those giving leadership to the relief efforts and for a cooperative effort among the different groups and agencies involved.

Esperandieu Pierre, the Campus Crusade for Christ director, was out of the country when the earthquake happened. He has since returned and is helping to coordinate relief efforts. Praise God his wife and children survived the disaster!

Four of the five "JESUS" film teams and their families have been accounted for; however, we heard that some key disciples were killed in the earthquake. Pray for God's comfort for those who are physically hurting and for those who lost loved ones. Pray that the other team can be found. Pray for the "JESUS" film teams who are working alongside the relief teams to offer spiritual and basic trauma counseling.

In addition, please include the following in your prayers:

• Pray for the enlistment of friends to attend the upcoming briefing on March 18-21, 2010, in Bonita Springs, Florida. We are asking God to provide 100 guests (couples and singles) in attendance. Pray that the hearts of those who will attend would begin to sense the Lord's leading for greater involvement. Pray that as these friends experience the weekend, their vision for the work of global evangelism and church-planting will grow and they will gain a greater perspective of biblical stewardship. Pray too, for preparations for the weekend--the program, speakers, and administrative staff.
• Pray for foundations considering grants to the ministry--that they will capture the vision and will respond favorably to the proposals before them.
• Pray for a strong response to the February mail appeal to provide "JESUS" DVDs, CDs and DVD players needed for both restricted-access and open countries. Pray that many of those who see the letter will be prompted to give to take the gospel to unreached men, women and children around the globe.
• Pray for the opportunity to enroll new ministry partners through special mailings. Pray that these mailings will draw many hundreds of new friends to join the ministry and help provide support for church-planting film teams worldwide. There is a matching gift opportunity connected to these mailings.
  Also pray for funds to provide for our film teams involved in relief and recovery efforts in Haiti, which will open doors for presenting the gospel.
• Pray for the development and use of social media tools to extend the ministry’s sphere of relationships worldwide.
