Should the film be shown to children?

Yes, but give caution to the graphic detail during the crucifixion. The children's version of the "JESUS" film, "The Story of Jesus for Children," was specifically produced for children in 2000, and is suitable for children ages 4 through 14. This version is 62-minutes long, half the length of the original version, and gives children the true story of Jesus from a child's perspective.
