A ministry worker living on an island in the South Pacific kept a supply of "Magdalena: Released From Shame" DVDs in a local language. Within three days, due to the popularity of the film, his stock depleted as a continual stream of people came to his house requesting personal copies. The worker invited a local leader from the majority religion of the area to his home to watch the film. The Holy Spirit moved this religious leader to accept the invitation. The following day, stirred by what he saw in the film, the leader went to his religion's house of worship and preached about Jesus and what the film revealed about Him. He explained to everyone listening that Jesus is the One who will cover the sins of His followers on Judgment Day. Ministry workers received word that people in this house of worship asked for even more copies of the film to be distributed after hearing what the religious leader had to say.
