Kara is a university student from the United States who participated in an outreach to Asia. There she met a college student named Akiko, who had attended a university in Pennsylvania and spoke fluent English.

Fear gripped the residents in a village in Ghana where idol worship captured the
hearts of 70 percent of the population. Many, especially among the youth,
desired to know more about Christ but the fear of being stigmatized ... held them in check.

As teammates Hallie and Toni shared Bible stories with a people group in Southeastern Africa, they showed clips from the "JESUS" film and "Magdalena" to help the learners envision what was going on in the            stories.... As John heard the parable of the sower, his mind filled with thoughts and he found himself asking the question that was burning in his heart, 'Which soil am I?'

Emily asked a ministry leader named Mark for a "JESUS" film DVD to show to her sister. A few months later, word came back to Mark that the sister indicated a decision for Christ through watching the film....

Raised in a Mexican village with no formal schooling, Alonso took advantage of every opportunity to learn from others. He eventually learned to read and write, which made him one of the "most educated Christians" in his village.
