Fiji: A Miraculous Recovery

During a recording trip in March 2007, JESUS Film recording team members were devastated when their laptop--containing the newly recorded Fijian "JESUS" film--was stolen. As they prayed fervently for a miracle, the Lord led one of the investigating officers, who is a believer, to return to a particular pawnshop he had already searched--and there was the stolen computer! Yet when the recordists recovered it, they realized the thief had erased the hard drive.

Trusting God for another miracle, they called the JESUS Film Master Studio to see if anything could be done to restore the deleted files. Amazingly, that very day Master Studio staff members had obtained a software program designed to restore deleted files! They sent the software to the recording team via the Internet, and they were able to restore the entire "lost" recording! Yet the greatest miracle was still to come. When the police finally apprehended the 18-year-old computer thief, the recording team met him and expressed their forgiveness. They shared the gospel with him, and this young man repented and prayed to receive Christ as Lord and Savior!
