In Ukraine, the received official endorsement for the DreamMakers-DreamBreakers curriculum to be used in every public school. ISP trained national leadership in order to meet the flood of conference invitations. Sixty-two trained Ukrainian educators now reach other teachers through the conferences, three of which they conducted completely on their own.
Ruslan, a young teacher introduced to ISP in February 2007, leads meetings, facilitates small groups, and delights in sharing God's Word with other teachers. As a key influencer in the leadership development program, he participated in 12 seminars in the last year. During two ISP DreamMakers-DreamBreakers conferences in Kherson in September, God used Ruslan to lead six teachers to Christ.
Liliya, one of the Future Teacher Leader graduates, commented on the small group she led:
"The Lord really worked in my teachers this week. The first day I could see their gloom and discontent. They felt as if they were forced to attend. However, they did the assignments and began to warm up. We had a great discussion after viewing The Story of Jesus for Children DVD. They realized that the invisible world is real and began to question me about sin and why Jesus died. They said, 'Now I know how to read the Bible. God has told me to start reading it.' One teacher even cried when she received her Bible, saying, 'I have always wanted a Bible. Thank you for this wonderful gift!'"
