Distraught Women Finds Healing After Seeing JESUS Film

As the result of an earthquake in her country, Mary* not only suffered the loss of a leg, but also the devastating loss of her two children. A "JESUS" film team provided an artificial leg for Mary, but her grief overwhelmed her for months. Through her tears she said, "I don’t care about the leg ... I lost my two lovely children." One of the film team members, Abigail,* began regularly visiting Mary and reading the New Testament to her. Mary enjoyed this and found comfort in God’s Word. After several months, Abigail gave her a copy of the JESUS film. Mary and her husband watched the film many times. When Abigail visited again, Mary expressed her love for the Lord and told Abigail she had joined a local church! Mary cannot read, but she drinks in all she is learning through the church and other believers.
