Modern-Day Miracle in Benin

A Benin "JESUS" film team boarded a small motorized boat to cross a lake and reach the village of Avlo. As the boat traveled across the lake, threatening clouds gathered overhead. "That is when one of the men among us, a pastor, lifted his hands toward heaven and prayed in the name of Jesus to stop the threat of rain," said one ministry worker. "Because if it were to rain, all the equipment would have gotten wet, and we would not even be able to have the screening. All the equipment would have been damaged ..." The whole team joined the pastor in prayer, and as a result, the rain sprinkled only slightly!
As they continued across the lake, however, violent winds stirred and began to rock their tiny vessel. "Our boat began to capsize under force of wind, and it looked like we were going to wreck,” the ministry worker remembered. “In that moment, the story of Jesus in the boat came to my mind.” He and the pastor began to pray. "In that moment, God began to intervene. The wind began to die down and the weather became calm. ... Like in the movie, Jesus lifted His hands and calmed the storm. In the same way, He saved us from the troubled waters."
Praise God for answering the prayers of this film team, protecting them and the equipment, and enabling numerous people in the village to watch JESUS and hear the gospel!
