Nigerian Priest Finds Peace in Jesus

Dauda, a powerful priest and an idol-worshipper, held ultimate authority in his village. When "JESUS" showed in his village, he watched attentively. The next day, film team members came to his home to share the gospel with him personally. Dauda admitted, "As soon as you stepped into this village I have not been oppressed at all." As they continued to share with him, he said: "Now that I’m a chief priest, am I going to abandon my religion?  If I do, the demons are going to invoke harm upon myself and affect the whole village." After assuring Dauda that Jesus is more powerful than the demons, he repented of his sins and surrendered his life to Christ. Then he brought out his charms to be destroyed. His wife watched in amazement, and finally she said, "[If] you decide to give your life to Jesus and abandon this religion, I’m also going to give my life to Jesus." Now they serve the Lord together and witness powerfully to everyone in their village.
