WebTechs
Welcome WebTechs from around the globe!
This area is designed to give you the latest updates on services and resources The JESUS Film Project provides, to better equip you to serve. This includes access to the complete library of audio and video streaming located and cached on servers around the world.
WEB UPDATE: I know I have communicated with many of you about the "on again, off again" development of utilizing Flash for all our streaming. Well we had started back up on this a few months ago, and it looks like this time we are going to actually get it done! Here's a sample of a current stream. I would appreciate your comments.
If you have been linking to the RealPlayer files via the "Abstraction Server," you do not have to do anything. As we move to Flash, the link(s) you have on your website today, will bring up the Flash version of the clip instead of RealPlayer. It will NOT pop-up a player however. What you see on our sites is a JavaScript popping up a separate browser session, sized for the clip that is playing. You can use the following to bring up a clip (using English Language for the example)...
<a href="http://media.inspirationalfilms.com/?id=eng00" onclick="window.open('http://media.inspirationalfilms.com/?id=eng00','Video','toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no, scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,dependent=yes,width=520,height=380,left=200,top=300');return false;" title="English Language">Name of your link</a>
OLDER NEWS: As of October 3, 2008, we have completely revamped, redesigned and relaunched the jesusfilm.org website. This new look and navigation incorporates answers to the fundamental questions of, "What is the 'JESUS' film and why do I care?"
Another change we made recently is the moving of our websites to a new, more robust, feature rich, and security hardened server environment. This allows us to utilize many of the latest tools that needed more updated server and database software.
When linking to our ministry or clips, please refer to the Branding Guidelines from our Stylebook for proper use of titles.
I hope these will be valuable enhancements to your evangelistic efforts and tools that many more partners can utilize.Permission to Link
