The greatest gospel gap in the world is in 50 countries—they have barely any new, thriving churches. And nearly 75% of all the world’s 3.63 billion unreached people live in 12 of those 50 countries. These people have the least access to the gospel in their own language.
Engage in strategic, focused prayer for the 12 countries of the world that are least reached with the gospel without ever leaving home.
Every month in 2022 we’ll feature one of these countries, familiarize you with its culture, and share prayer requests addressing the country’s specific needs. We believe the light of Jesus can shine through!

This month in India, people throughout the country will celebrate Diwali, a five-day Festival of Lights, which falls on October 24 this year. Diwali is all about new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. May Jesus reveal to many Indian people that He is the light of the world during this season!
The Dutch, the French, the Portuguese, the Mughals, and the British have all ruled over India at different times throughout history.
India is home to 22 official languages, but Hindi is the most widely spoken and English is the second official language. The JESUS film is available in over 260 languages spoken in India.

India has more than 600,000 villages. Out of this, nearly 400,000 villages have no Christian witness at all. Pray for increased progress in planting multiplying churches among these villages.
The majority religion believes that it is impossible to know any god. Pray that God, the creator of the universe, will show the people of India that He is not only knowable, but desires a relationship with each one of them.
Pray for the 46 cities in India with more than one million people. Pray for partnerships among pastors, nonprofits and marketplace leaders that will change the spiritual climate of India, while helping address civic, social and infrastructure problems in those cities. Pray that believers in these cities would be bold to share their faith with their friends and co-workers.
