Hari 17: Perumpamaan tentang Pelita
Yesus menggunakan sebuah obor untuk menjelaskan bagaimana para pengikutnya seharusnya menjalani hidup. Tidak ada seorangpun yang menutupi pelita atau menaruhnya di bawah tempat tidur. Sebaliknya, mereka menaruhnya di suatu tempat dimana orang-orang akan meihat pelita ketika mereka masuk. Dia berlanjut berkata bahwa apapun yang tersembunyi yang tidak akan dinyatakan, dan tidak ada sesuatu yang rahasia yang tidak akan diketahui dan diumumkan.

He was told, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see You.” But He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and carry it out.”
