Why do I want to wrestle?
I think it's just because, obviously, I have a love and a passion for the sport, but I feel like God's
kind of given me this role and opportunity to do this in my life, and I thank him every single day for
this opportunity.
I just feel the path that I've went is something that's paved by God, and I just feel like it's something
that he chose me to do because I feel like I was born to do it.
To be honest, I like doing that stuff.
I like the challenge, and there are days that I don't want to train, but it's in general, I love doing
it, and I have a passion for it.
When I get into the wrestling room, this is like going into the lab, you know, like a scientist.
I just kind of get on track on what I'm supposed to do.
I think things I've learned from my dad that surpass the sport.
I think just like the character of a person that I am, you know, I think being a person that is respectable
and someone that I don't want to say just like a good person, but he's personable.
He's able to be humble in his wins and losses.
We understand that wrestling is just a sport.
At the end of the day, it doesn't define you as a person just because that you're just some great wrestler.
I think it's really important to understand that the adversities we have to overcome on the mat help overcome
adversities in life.
I would say the good news about Jesus is that he's always there for you.
He's seeking you at all times.
And sometimes I feel like you forget about him or you aren't there.
He still unconditionally loves you.
I'm always someone who feels like I have to be actively doing the.
If I'm not, it's like, makes me feel bad about myself, but it's like I have to know that Jesus is there
for me, whether I'm looking or not, whether things are going good or things are going bad.
He's never going to forsake us.
Trying to learn from Jesus life where he sacrificed himself and his life to erase our sin and having that
humility, I think that maybe is one of the things that I look at the most.
It's something that the way that he did it was not something where he brought a lot of attention to himself
but ended up reaching everybody.
And it's crazy how he was almost able to inspire people and get into people's hearts that way without
having some create magnificent show as much as I do try to take the stage and
platform to put on a show with my performance and my own technique and my own skill and want to display
the best kind of wrestling because that's the kind of wrestler I am.
When I get off the mat, I try to just show what kind of a good person I am through Christ and the kind
of person God's made me to show like he's a man of God.
And that's kind of how I want to be able to get into their hearts that way and people become Stefan Michic
fans that way.
