3. You're Not Alone

It feels like a dance. I feel like that's one thing. It's a challenge. A good challenge, every day. I think it challenges me outside of myself or in ways that I didn’t expect to be challenged and helps me grow. So with that, I know that this is what God has called me to do. This is not who I am. As much as I love hammer throwing and I enjoy it, like, this is just what I do, it's not who I am, it's not who I identify as solely. It's just what I do and that sustains me. So if anything does happen in the future, I just know that, okay, you know what, It's my time to end it and we keep moving forward. And God has something else for me to do. Getting to know Jesus, that was, that's a turning point in my life. that's where I’ve experienced hope, confidence, peace in my life, and that's sustained me through the trials, through the Olympics, and through life, even now. If I were to give a friend advice, I would say, Jesus loves you. and as much as he loves you, he wants to comfort you and help you in this time And you're not alone in the time, even if physically there are not, there are not people around you... you're not alone in this time at all. Jesus is always... He’s always with you. And disappointment is hard. But let yourself go through it. But then also have like a point where, okay, now how are we going to move forward? Let's take action steps to like not be stuck in the same, rut, because as much as the pain feels like it's forever in that moment, it's not and life is not forever and you want it to be... Life gets better. Life gets better.
