(upbeat music) I instantly knew that my season was over. The first thing that I felt was the pain of of not being able to play. My emotions, my attitudes, the way I acted was all dependent on basketball. My life felt like a roller coaster. It was up and down, it was never sturdy. Placing my faith in the center has kind of redirected me. I'm able to have stability, learn that my value isn't in basketball, isn't in how I perform, but is in Christ. Like Stephanie, whether we're winning or sidelined, Christ helps us to feel fully satisfied with life. God, who created us, is good and worthy of honor. But we went our own way, seeking our own glory instead of His. We focused on ourselves, which is what the Bible calls sin. As a result, our relationship with God is broken. Jesus is God who came to earth as a man. He offers you the forgiveness of your sins and the gift of eternal life with Him when you make Him the center of your life. Because of his great love for you, he considers you worth it. To accept his gift, you can begin by talking to Jesus. You can tell him you believe he died for you, and that he came back to life, showing his power over sin and death. Would you like to trust him today?
