StoryClubs

Kids Around the World has partnered with Jesus Film Project® to introduce StoryClub Lessons. These Bible lessons allow children to become eye-witnesses and active participants in God's Story and not just distant observers. StoryClub Lessons takes 13 Bible stories, with the corresponding video clips from The Story of Jesus for Children, and shows you how to create a StoryClub, an environment where kids can encounter Jesus. StoryClubs rely on Jesus' methods of teaching: telling stories, creating interactive experiences and having meaningful discussions. Children, and the leaders who disciple them, can discover a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus. StoryClubs: The Tomb is Empty

Mary Magdalene rushes into a room full of disciples. She tells the men the stone has been rolled away. And that when she and the others went into the tomb, the body was gone. Joanna speaks of the angels. She says there were two shining men. And they told the women not to look for the living among the dead. Peter rushes away and to the tomb. He runs in and walks right to the rocky shelf. But there's no body. There's only the linen. He kneels and takes it in his hands. He shuffles it, looking through it. But after a moment he stops. StoryClubs: Jesus is Crucified

They arrive at the place where the crosses are being set up. Others are being tied to their crosses. Jesus is stripped and led to His own cross. They throw Him down on it. There are cries as the others are nailed to their crosses. The nails are hammered through Jesus's wrists and feet as He screams. Then slowly, the crosses are erected as Romans pulls the ropes. Jesus is lifted high in the air. He hangs on the cross, tired and in pain. He prays for those in the crowd. He asks God to forgive them because they don't know what they do. The crowd murmurs at the feet of the cross. Annas and Caiaphas comment that He saved others. They wonder why He doesn't save Himself. The crowd starts to jeer. They urge Him to save Himself. StoryClubs: The Last Supper

Passover is about to begin. Jesus sends Peter and John ahead to prepare the Passover meal. Jesus sits with them and looks at all of them. He tells them how glad He is to share the meal before he suffers. Jesus takes his cup and prays to God. As when He prayed over the bread and fish, He thanks God for the blessing of the fruit of the vine that God brings forth. He passes it to the nearest disciple and tells them all to drink it. Jesus reaches for a piece of bread and prays again. He thanks God for bringing bread from the earth and breaks it. He passes the two pieces to the disciples and claims that the bread represents His body that's given for them. They should eat and remember Him. The cup is still being passed around. In the temple, Jesus watches a widow give all that she has. People in the crowd note how little she gives. They ask for her to give more. But Jesus proclaims to everyone that the widow gave more than everyone else. Everyone else who contributed gave out of the extra money they had. StoryClubs: Jesus and Zacchaeus

Jesus enters the town surrounded by crowds pushing in on Him. Zacchaeus, a short man, tries to see Jesus. But he can't see above the crowds or get through them. He climbs a tree. Jesus calls out to him. He tells Zacchaeus to come down from the tree because He wants to have dinner with him. People are appalled. Zacchaeus is the town tax collector.
