A Filha de Jairo é Trazida de Volta à Vida
Multidões cercam Jesus ao deixar a sinagoga. Uma voz se eleva acima dos outros. Um homem, Jairo, implora a Jesus para salvar a filha doente, de 12 anos de idade. Outro homem corre até Jairo. Ele diz para não incomodar o professor, que sua filha morreu. Jesus vira e diz-lhe para não ter medo. E que se Jairo acreditasse, sua filha iria ficar bem. Jesus e os discípulos visitam a família. Os vizinhos choram pela perda da filha. Ela encontra-se sem vida na cama. Jesus olha para ela por um momento. Então ele olha para a mãe da criança e a conforta. Ele diz que a criança não está morta, mas que na verdade está apenas dormindo. Jesus senta-se e olha para a menina, por um momento e, em seguida, diz a ela para levantar-se.
