Hello, my name is Joel, and this is my sign name Visual Vernacular (VV) is a physical theater technique. It combines elements of mime, poetry, and storytelling. People won’t need to rely on an interpreter. The performance itself in VV will be clear for everyone to understand. VV is not a language. But with pictures and the performance included in the film, it’s ready for the Deaf community around the world to watch and enjoy.
