Jesus continues to hang on the cross. Darkness comes over everything. The veil in the temple is torn right down the middle. Jesus breathes heavily. He prays and gives up His spirit willingly into the Father’s hand. And then He dies.

路加福音 23:44-47

那時大約是中午十二點，黑暗籠罩了整個大地，一直到下午三點。 太陽失去了光，同時，聖所裡的幔子裂成兩半。 耶穌大聲呼喚：「父啊，我把我的靈魂交託在你手中。」說完這話，就斷了氣。 百夫長看見所發生的事，就不住地榮耀神，說：「這個人的確是義人。」
