Triumphal Entry and Results

Jesus enters Jerusalem triumphantly for the Passover Celebration. He is honored by the crowd as he enters the city, fulfilling prophecy. The people were excited as they had heard how Lazarus had been resurrected from the dead. The time had come for Jesus to enter into His Glory. Jesus is nervous about the huge event that is before Him, He prays that God be glorified by His laying down of His life. He preaches that this life of ours is not about fulfilling our desires, but about serving God. Jesus tells the people that He is about to die, they are confused as they thought The Christ was to remain forever, Jesus explains He is to remain as the light amongst them for a little while longer and encourages them to believe in the light and become sons of light.
