Um filho, nervosamente, mostra os cartões em suas mãos. Seu pai olha em expectativa. Cada cartão conta a história do pai que machucou a ele e à sua mãe. Então o filho escreve algo em um novo cartão. Através de suas lágrimas, ele levanta o cartão que diz: "Eu te perdôo". Ele cai de joelhos na frente do seu pai que também está chorando. Palavras cruzam a tela de uma citação de uma das vítimas de Virginia Tech dias antes de ela ser atingida. "Quando ferimento profundo nos é inflingido, nós nunca nos recuperamos até perdoarmos.
