The Transfiguration
Jesus takes John, James and Peter up a hill to pray. Jesus walks apart from them, covering His head to pray. But when He does, His appearance changes. His face changes. His clothes become pure white. He starts talking to two men who seem to be with Him. Moses and Elijah speak to Him. One says Jesus will fulfill God's purpose. The other says He will die in Jerusalem. Peter slowly wakes up. He's the first to see Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus. He wakes James and John. They see it too. Moses and Elijah turn and leave, fading away. The disciples fall to their knees and worship Jesus.

શેર કરોએ વચનો કહ્યાંને આશરે આઠ દિવસ પછી એમ થયું કે ઈસુ પિતર, યોહાન તથા યાકૂબને લઈને પ્રાર્થના કરવા માટે પહાડ ઉપર ગયા. ઈસુ પોતે પ્રાર્થના કરતા હતા તે સમયે તેમના ચહેરાનું સ્વરૂપ બદલાઈ ગયું, અને તેમના વસ્ત્ર ઊજળાં તથા ચળકતાં થયાં. અને, જુઓ, બે પુરુષ, એટલે મૂસા તથા એલિયા, તેમની સાથે વાત કરતા હતા. તેઓ બન્ને મહિમાવાન દેખાતા હતા, અને ઈસુનું મૃત્યુ જે યરુશાલેમમાં થવાનું હતું તે સંબંધી વાત કરતા હતા. હવે પિતર તથા જેઓ ઈસુની સાથે હતા તેઓ ઊંઘે ઘેરાયલા હતા; પણ જયારે તેઓ જાગ્રત થયા, ત્યારે તેઓએ ઈસુનો મહિમા જોયું અને પેલા બે પુરુષોને પણ જોયા. તેઓ ઈસુની પાસેથી વિદાય થતાં હતાં, ત્યારે પિતરે ઈસુને કહ્યું કે, ગુરુ, અહીં રહેવું આપણે માટે સારું છે; તો અમે ત્રણ મંડપ બનાવીએ, એક તમારે માટે, એક મૂસાને માટે અને એક એલિયાને માટે; પણ તે પોતે શું કહી રહ્યો છે તે સમજતો નહોતો. તે એમ કહેતો હતો, એટલામાં એક વાદળું આવ્યું, અને તેઓ પર તેની છાયા પડી; અને તેઓ વાદળમાં પ્રવેશ્યા ત્યારે શિષ્યો ભયભીત થઈ ગયા. વાદળામાંથી એવી વાણી થઈ કે, ‘આ મારો પસંદ કરેલો દીકરો છે; તેનું સાંભળો.’” તે વાણી થઈ રહી, ત્યારે ઈસુ એકલા દેખાયા. અને તેઓ મૌન રહ્યા, અને જે જોયું હતું તેમાંનું કંઈ તેઓએ તે દિવસોમાં કોઈને કહ્યું નહિ.
