Widow's Offering
In the temple, Jesus watches a widow give all that she has. People in the crowd note how little she gives. They ask for her to give more. But Jesus proclaims to everyone that the widow gave more than everyone else. Everyone else who contributed gave out of the extra money they had. But the widow, even in her poverty, gave everything she owned.

Jezus je dan za dnem govoril in opozarjal pismouke in farizeje,
da učijo postavo, sami pa ne živijo po njej.
Nekega dne je Jezus v templju videl siromašno vdovo,
ki je vrgla v tempeljsko zakladnico dva novčiča.
To je zelo malo.
Ali nimaš več?
Resnično, povem vam:
ta uboga vdova je vrgla več kot vsi.
Vsi so namreč vrgli dar od svojega preobilja,
ta pa je dala od svojega uboštva vse, kar je imela za življenje.
