Are You Ready to Take The Next Step?

The most physical, emotional, and spiritual thing that anyone can do is choose, everything begins with a choice. If you’re watching this video it’s probably because you’re thinking about making that decision to trust Jesus with your life. And believe me, it’s a big call, not one to be taken lightly. Like I know how hard it can be to trust somebody else, that fear of how someone might react if they know the real you. The thing about it is, and what I've come to discover, is that, Jesus knows you better than you know yourself; every thought, every quirk, every mistake and yet he loves you still. If anything I hope you've been able to see as we’ve journeyed together just how trustworthy Jesus is. Now, there’s this interesting moment in the gospel of John where many people are struggling with Jesus’ message to follow him and they're walking away. And so Jesus turns to his disciples and He says, 'are you going to leave too?' And Peter’s response was perfect... He said, “Lord, who would we go to? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe in you. We know that you are the Holy One from God.” (John 6:68-69) He was basically saying "where else would we go now that we know who you are?" and I really get what he means, as in... I still have uncertainties in my life, I still don’t have it all figured out yet the best thing that I have is my relationship with God. So if you’re ready and you want to take that next step, I encourage you to use the words that I'm going to speak to Jesus and make them your own. This is a heartfelt response to what Jesus has done for you and a chance to begin your life with Him. Jesus, thank you for loving me. Thank you for the worth you speak into my life by dying for my sin. I confess that I need your forgiveness. I want to turn from living for myself and trust you to take the lead in my life, I want to Join life’s adventure with you and become the person you made me to be. Amen
