If Jesus were still dead, we could not experience his life. His Spirit living inside us is one of the greatest gifts he offers.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas and then to the Twelve.

Ti sei mai chiesto perché è così importante che Gesù sia tornato in vita dopo essere morto per noi?
Immaginiamo per un momento cosa potrebbe offrirci una persona morta.
Potrebbe darci vita?
No perché è morta.
Potrebbe darci amicizia?
Hmmm, certo che no!
Potrebbe avere il potere di cambiare la nostra vita?
Beh, il problema è evident.
La buona notizia è che Gesù è risuscitato
vive ancora,
e può cambiare ogni cosa.
Ma come ha potuto tornare in vita?
Gesù era puro.
Questo significa che il male che uccide noi
non poteva tracenere Lui nella tomba.
La Sua purezza era così assoluta che ha vinto la morte!
Non solo ha curato le nostre ferite interiori, Gesù ha anche cancellato il nostro male e ci ha donato la vita con lui.
Una vita di libertà e gioia, per amarlo e servirlo.
La vita che Egli ci dona non finisce mai.
