Parable of the Lamp
Jesus uses a torch to explain how his followers should live. No one covers the light or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it in a place where people will see the light when they come in. He goes on to say that whatever is kept a secret will be brought into the open. And anything that's covered up will be found and brought into the light.

Nessuno accende una torcia e la copre
o la mette sotto il letto.
Piuttosto la mette in alto
affinché coloro che entrano vedano la luce.
Tutto ciò che ora è nascosto sarà portato alla luce
e tutto ciò che è segreto sarà rivelato.
Attenti dunque, a come ascoltate.
Perché, a chi ha sarà dato.
Ma a chi non ha sarà tolto quel poco che crede di avere.
Maestro
tua madre e i tuoi fratelli ti aspettano fuori.
Vogliono vederti.
Mia madre e i miei fratelli sono quelli che ascoltano la Parola di Dio
e ubbidiscono.
