Do you like listening to music? What music do you listen to? While there are many genres of music, there is a similar theme across the board. That theme is love. Music, books, movies, they all constantly express and sing about love. Even today, people continue to seek out true love. But in this imperfect world, our love is incomplete. The love we experience is often selfish and transient. So where can we find true love? The Bible tells us that God is love. God knew you even before you were born. He loves you unconditionally, just as you are. Through God, we can experience an everlasting and unfailing love. Despite God's unconditional love for us, we are separated from him, so we live our lives unaware of his love. We do not trust God, and we do not think that we need him. The Bible teaches us that sin is the reason behind this separation and distrust. Sin leads us to become self-centered and indifferent toward God. Sin leads us to hurt those we love and damage relationships. In this way, sin slowly begins to destroy our lives. Something needs to change. Nothing of this world can save us from our sinful hearts. God is filled with sorrow as we struggle in vain against sin. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. God sent his one and only son to Earth in order to restore our broken relationship with him. Jesus, the one being without sin, died on the cross in our place and paid the price for our sins. However, Jesus did not stop there. Jesus conquered sin, came back to life, and freed us from the power of sin. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. This remarkable story needs your faith. You have a choice to either believe or to not believe. If you choose not to open your heart, this story will pass you by as irrelevant. But if you believe and pray in this truth, Jesus will come into your life. He will never leave us and will love us eternally. Jesus is waiting for you.
