Swamp of Despondency
Two friends, Pliable and Obstinate, intercept Christian as he continues on his path toward the Celestial City. Unable to deter Christian from the path, Obstinate storms back to the City of Destruction. Pliable, on the other hand, decides to follow Christian, and, much to their surprise, they end up tumbling into the depths of the Swamp of Despondency. Will this murky predicament deter the pilgrims from traveling further?
