Праздник Пасхи вот-вот должен начаться. Иисус посылает Петра и Иоанна вперед, чтобы те приготовили пасху. Иисус садится с ними и осматривает их всех. Он говорит о том, как Он рад разделить трапезу с ними перед Его страданиями. Иисус берет чашу и возносит молитву к Богу. Когда Он молится над хлебом и рыбой, Он благодарит Бога за благословение плода виноградного, который приносит Бог. Он предает чашу ближайшему ученику и велит им испить. Иисус берет хлеб и молится опять. Он благодарит Бога за хлеб и преломляет его. Он передает две преломленные части хлеба ученикам и заявляет, что хлеб представляет Его тело, которое Он отдает за них. Они должны есть и вспоминать о Нем. Чаша тоже передается от одного к другому. Иисус говорит, что чаша вина есть Новый Завет в Его крови и она проливается за них.
