Then at this time, a decree came forth from
Caesar Augustus that a census would be
taking of the Empire.
Joseph went up from the town of Nazareth
in Galilee to Judea,
to the city of David,
as was called Bethlehem.
To be registered with Mary,
his betrothed wife, who was pregnant.

her days were completed to give birth.
