The Good Samaritan

He came upon robbers who stripped him, wounded him, and left him suffering between life and death. And by chance, a priest came down the road. He saw the suffering man and went by to the other side. And when a Levite happened to come upon the place as well, and also saw the man there beside the road, and turned away, and passed by on the opposite side of the road, but a Samaritan came upon him. And seeing him, he was filled with compassion, and came to him and covered his wounds after pouring on them oil and wine. He put the man on his animal, and he brought him to an inn and took care of it. And when he left the inn the next day, he took out two dinarii, and he gave them to the innkeeper, and he told him, "This is for him. If you spend more than this, then I will repay you when I return." Tell me, which of the three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the misfortune of men? The man who treated his wounds and showed him mercy. So I'm telling you now, go and do the same.
