Baptism of Jesus

In the fifteenth year of the reign of the Emperor Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate served as governor of Judea, and Herod was the Tetrarch of Galilee, the world of God, came to John, son of Zacharia, when he was in the wilderness. I am the voice crying in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord. His roads must be straight and true. All valleys will be filled up. Every hill and mountain will be made to be low. The crooked shall become straight, and the rough places is plain. And all mankind will see God's salvation. Your brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Don't tell yourselves, "Abraham is our father." For I say unto all of you, God is able to raise up from these stones children to Abraham. [MUSIC] The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown in the fire. I baptize you with water. But he who is mightier than I is coming. And I am not worthy to untie the thongs of his sandals. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire.
