The Birth of Jesus

Then at this time, a decree came forth from Caesar Augustus that a census would be taking of the Empire. Joseph went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David, as was called Bethlehem. To be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was pregnant. While they were there, her days were completed to give birth. [MUSIC] [MUSIC] I prepared a bit of straw here. I'm sorry. I'll be fine, Joseph. Everything will be alright. [MUSIC] [Silence] [MUSIC] Thank you. [MUSIC] Don't be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy. For all people, for today there was born for you in the city of David, a Savior who is Christ the Lord. This is your sign. You will find the baby wrapped in cloth and lying in a manger. What are you all waiting for? Let's go see what has been done by the Lord. Follow me. [MUSIC] Blessed man, may we enter. An angel appeared to us and spoke of the birth of a baby. Christ the Lord, our Savior. Come in. [MUSIC]
