If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. But I tell you truly, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.”

Hoće li još neko od vas da me sledi?
Učitelju, ja ću da te sledim.
Ali, pusti me da prvo odem kući i oprostim se sa porodicom.
Svako ko ore a pritom se stalno osvrće nije ni od kakve koristi Carstvu Božijem.
Ako ko hoće da ide za mnom, neka se odrekne samog sebe,
i uzme svoj krst svakodnevno sledeći mene.
Jer svako ko svoj život čuva, izgubiće ga.
a ko izgubi svoj život radi mene, taj će ga spasti.
Kakvu korist ima čovek da zadobije sav svet, a izgubi dušu svoju?
Ko se postidi mene i mog učenja,
njega će se postideti i Sin čovečiji kad dođe u svojoj slavi,
u slavi Oca i svetih anđela.
Uveravam vas,
ovde ima nekih koji neće umreti dok ne vide Carstvo Božije.
