Воскрешение дочки Иаира
Толпа окружает Иисуса, когда он выходит из Синагоги. Один голос выделяется из толпы. Мужчина по имени Иаир умоляет Иисуса спасти его двенадцатилетнюю дочь. Другой мужчина подбегает к Иаиру и говорит ему не беспокоить Учителя, так как его дочь уже умерла. Иисус поворачивается к Иаиру и говорит ему не бояться и если он будет сильно верить, его дочь поправится. Иисус и Его апостолы посещают семью. Соседи продолжают настаивать, что она уже умерла. Девочка безжизненно лежит в кроватке. Иисус на мгновение взглядывает на нее, затем Он смотрит на ее мать и успокаивает ее. Он говорит, что ребенок не мертв, а просто спит. Иисус садится и смотрит на девочку мгновение, потом он говорит ей встать.

But Jesus took her by the hand and called out, “Child, get up!” Her spirit returned, and at once she got up. And He directed that she be given something to eat. Her parents were astounded, but Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened.
