Widow's Offering
In the temple, Jesus watches a widow give all that she has. People in the crowd note how little she gives. They ask for her to give more. But Jesus proclaims to everyone that the widow gave more than everyone else. Everyone else who contributed gave out of the extra money they had. But the widow, even in her poverty, gave everything she owned.

Dag efter dag kritiserade Jesus många av de skriftlärda och fariséerna, som sa att de predikade lagen,
men efterlevde inte själva lagen. I templet såg Jesus en väldigt fattig änka
som offrade två kopparmynt.

Kan hon inte ge mer?
Jag säger er:
Den här fattiga änkan gav mer än alla de andra!
Alla andra gav av sitt överflöd,
men hon, fattig som hon är, gav allt hon hade att leva på.
