Have you ever wondered why it's so important that Jesus came back to life after dying for us? Let's imagine for a moment what a dead man could offer to us. Could he give us life? No, he'd be dead after all. How about friendship? Maybe not. What about give us the power to change our lives? Well, you see the problem. The good news is that because Jesus came back to life and still lives, he can change everything. But how was he able to come back to life? Jesus was totally pure, which means the evil that kills us couldn't keep him in the grave. He's the only person so good that he actually conquered death to not only fix our brokenness, but to wash away our evil and give us life with him. A life of freedom and joy poured out in love and service to him, because the life he gives never ends.
