Will God really keep me from living out my evil desires? When we were born, we weren't the ones who gave ourselves life. God gave us life through our parents. Since God can give us life from nothing, He can certainly change us to be like Him. We have all tried to be good on our own and failed. But when we receive the new spiritual life Jesus gives us, we are completely dependent on Him to keep us safe, teach us how to live, and help us grow stronger. God has adopted us as His children, and He promises that if we trust and depend on Him with grateful hearts, He will change us day after day. So, as we keep our hearts focused on loving Jesus as He loves us, He will make us strong, give us hope, and make us pure.
