Dr. Bill Bright:
Provided above is a short, enlightening video by Bill and Vonette Bright entitled, “Surrendering Everything,” courtesy of GenerousGiving.org. In 1951, Bill and Vonette Bright, co-founders of Campus Crusade for Christ, signed a contract with God to surrender everything to Him. The Brights share in the video what their commitment has meant for them; pouring out their lives in ministry to the king, trusting Him to provide for their needs. For a printable booklet version of the Bright’s testimony, click here. Watch, read, be challenged, and forward to your friends.
Dr. Bright was passionate about being good stewards and developed resources to help equip believers. One of those resources is a booklet entitled, “How You Can Experience the Adventure of Giving.” In the booklet he challenges conventional wisdom and provides proof that sacrificial giving can become a thrilling and rewarding adventure in the life of every Christian. He encourages Christians to prayerfully evaluate the ultimate destinations of their material gifts. Dr. Bright exhorts believers to invest their time, talents and treasures to help fulfill the Great Commission in this generation. Click here to view the booklet online. Read, grow and forward to your friends.

Generous Giving
Generous Giving, also a friend and long-time partner of The JESUS Film Project, began in the 1990s when five friends came together, challenged by the question of what could happen if Christians were truly generous with their resources, living out the joy of giving instead of the duty of tithing. They talked with others who were already experiencing this joy and asked them to share how living in faith-driven generosity had brought extreme transformation to their hearts and lives.
One of those lives who is radically experiencing this transformation is Alan Barnhart, and his story is one of a number you can find on the GenerousGiving.org website. Since Alan, his wife Katherine and family are friends of The JESUS Film Project, we wanted to feature his story here and encourage you to visit the Generous Giving site to hear other stories and learn more about the excellent resources available.
