Can God be Known?

When you hear the word "god", you may imagine some distant being, someone whom you can call for help in times of trouble, or a mysterious force. You may think, "If there is a God, it has nothing to do with me." The journey to know God begins with accepting the possibility that God exists. Without this first step, it would be too difficult to know God. There are three ways we can know about God: The first is "Natural." From nature we can see the beauty and vastness of Creation, and see that God is worthy of being known. Secondly, through "Reason" we can see the intention in the way things were created. We can see the world had a beginning, because nothing is born from nothing, and that life is miraculous and complicated. The third way to know God is by "Revelation". “Revelation” is when God tells us about Himself directly. This is the most accurate way to know God. God's direct revelation of Himself is found in the Bible. There it says that God is completely good, and He created this world and everything in it. God lovingly created humans so that we could have a personal relationship with Him . God is a trustworthy counsel and guide for our lives, because God is the source of wisdom. God is able to care for us perfectly. The depths of His forgiveness are endless. God has a plan to bless each one of us. Receiving His blessings, allows us to in turn give His blessings to others. The Bible says that God is has always existed, even before the foundations of the world. God is completely holy. Everything He does is good, for He is pure and perfect in every respect. in Him is no evil. Gos is so holy that wickedness and impure things cannot withstand His presence. God knows each one of us individually, and can see beyond our actions, directly to the heart. God is the only source of true life. God does more than just listen to our wishes, He lives and works dramatically in our lives. When we start to walk with God, He will lead us in the everlasting way, and we will be transformed into people that bring blessings to those around us. 2. What are humans? is next.
