The greatest gospel gap in the world is in 50 countries—they have barely any new, thriving churches. And nearly 75% of all the world’s unreached people (3.6 billion) live in 12 of those 50 countries. These people have the least access to the gospel in their own language.
Engage in strategic, focused prayer for the 12 countries of the world that are least reached with the gospel without ever leaving home.
Every month in 2023 we’ll feature one of these countries, familiarize you with its culture, and share prayer requests addressing the country’s specific needs. We believe the light of Jesus can shine through!
All about China
This month Chinese people all over the world celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Chinese families gather each year during this time when the moon is full, as it symbolizes wholeness or completeness. Pray that Christians in China will share Christ with their family members, and that they will know the One who created the moon!
Pray for Chinese churches to creatively engage people who are lonely, marginalized and broken. Pray that churches will work together to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Pray that those who are enduring tremendous hardship for following Christ would be strengthened and encouraged by the Holy Spirit. Pray that their suffering would ultimately lead others to trust Jesus.
Pray for seminary education for Christians. Pray that God will provide high-quality professors and theologians to train up excellent pastors and evangelists. Pray that churches will increase communication with seminaries.
