The greatest gospel gap in the world is in 50 countries—these countries have barely any new, thriving churches. And nearly 75% of all the world’s unreached people (3.6 billion) live in 12 of those 50 countries. The people in these 12 countries have the least access to the gospel in their own language.
We can engage in strategic, focused prayer for the 12 countries of the world that are least reached with the gospel without ever leaving home.
Every month in 2025 we’ll feature one of these countries, familiarize you with its culture and share prayer requests addressing the country’s specific needs. We believe the light of Jesus can shine through!
All About Indonesia
Indonesia, a sprawling archipelago in Southeast Asia, is home to some of the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders. These include active volcanoes like Mount Bromo and the lush rainforests of Sumatra, which are teeming with rare wildlife like orangutans and tigers. Indonesia’s people, numbering over 270 million, represent more than 300 major ethnic groups. Each group contributes distinct traditions, art forms and cuisines to the nation’s vibrant cultural landscape.
Pray With Us
The country’s hundreds of local languages and dialects make reaching Indonesians in their heart language very challenging. Pray for Bibles and Christian materials currently being translated to be translated accurately.
Some areas in Indonesia have been home to Christians for centuries. Sadly, many denominations in these regions struggle with division, immorality and occult practices. Pray for the Holy Spirit to encourage these Christians to return to true biblical faith.
Pray for more programs that train educators and children on the dangers of human trafficking and the tactics of traffickers. Pray for God to protect vulnerable young people from this threat.
