Join the journey

When the evil Lord Saphorin attacks Clan Pahar, Auric, the chief’s son, and his good pal Vera are the clan’s only hope. Join Auric as he leaves the safety of Pahar to pursue his own adventure, taking matters into his own hands in the process.

What villains and obstacles will he face? Does he find what he hoped for? What does it cost him? Find out in The Road to Kaeluma. Due to perilous situations, kids under the age of eight should listen with their parents.

What is an audio drama?

Voiced by dynamic actors, audio dramas transport listeners into the world of the story and put them in the driver’s seat to visualize every last detail! They’re a screen-free alternative for people who want to experience a good story simply by listening, without the need of a narrator.

Audio dramas encourage children and teens to use their imagination and think creatively. They’re a great way to take in meaningful messages from the Bible and spark spiritual conversations as a family. Each episode features moving music, realistic sound effects, and compelling voice acting.

Beyond the story

Based on the parable of the prodigal son from the Bible, The Road to Kaeluma paves the way for natural, easy conversations about grace and the importance of good relationships with our parents and God, our Heavenly Father.

There’s also bonus content! The Road to Kaeluma includes a companion podcast, downloadable discussion guides and a family devotional from FamilyLife® that parents and kids can use to talk about the themes of the story together.

What parents are saying

“Our kids loved the excitement and adventure of Road to Kaeluma. They were captivated by the first episode’s cliffhanger and couldn’t wait to dive into the next chapter. The storytelling sparked their imaginations so much that they’ve already started making fan art. The characters are relatable and easy to connect with, which draws you into the story even more. It’s adventurous, engaging, and keeps young listeners on the edge of their seats—highly recommended for family listening!”

—Joel and Amy

“When we sat down to listen to the first episode of The Road to Kaeluma, our six-year-old son settled into our couch and a smile slowly spread across his face as we listened. Road to Kaeluma is full of wonder, adventure, and lessons of faith that we are more than ready to explore with our children. The story immediately draws you in and we found ourselves not wanting it to end. This will be an incredible resource for our family, allowing us to grow in our faith together.”
