예수님의 권위에 대한 안나스의 도전
안나스라는 바리세인이 예수님에게 무슨 자격으로 그가 하시는 말들을 할 수 있는지 묻습니다. 예수님은 대답대신 안나스에게 묻습니다. 예수님은 요한이 세례하는 자격이 하나님에게서 왔는지 인간에게서 왔는지 묻습니다. 안나스는 돌아서서 다른 바리세인들과 얘기합니다. 그래서 그들은 예수님께 돌아가서 누가 요한에게 세례 할 권리를 줬는지 모른다고 대답합니다. 예수님은 쳐다봅니다. 그들이 알지 못하니 예수님은 그들에게 누가 가르칠 권리를 주셨는지 대답하지 않겠다고 합니다.

공유One day as Jesus was teaching the people in the temple courts and proclaiming the gospel, the chief priests and scribes, together with the elders, came up to Him. “Tell us,” they said, “by what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?” “I will also ask you a question,” Jesus replied. “Tell Me: John’s baptism — was it from heaven, or from men?” They deliberated among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will ask, ‘Why did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are convinced that John was a prophet.” So they answered that they did not know where it was from. And Jesus replied, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”
