예수님의 팔복
예수님은 그의 가르침을 들으러 모인 무리를 봅니다. 하지만 무리에게 가르치는 대신 예수님은 제자들을 향해 뒤를 돕니다. 그리고 앞으로 있을 여정을 위해 격려합니다. 사람들의 그들을 증오하고 거부하고 모욕하고 예수님을 따름으로 악하다고 할때 그들은 복 받은 것이라고 확신시켜 줍니다. 그때에는 행복해하고 기쁨의 춤을 추라고 격려하십니다. 왜냐하면 그들을 위해 큰 상이 천국에서 기다리고 있기 때문입니다. 그리고 그들의 조상들이 예언자들에게 똑같이 반응했다고 기억시키십니다.

공유Looking up at His disciples, Jesus said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For their fathers treated the prophets in the same way.
