Toen Jezus Jeruzalem zag liggen begon hij te huilen.
Als je toch,
vandaag had geweten wat nodig is voor jou vrede, maar nu ben je der blind voor.
De tijd komt dat je vijanden
je medogenloos zullen omsingelen en je aan alle kanten zullen insluiten.
Binnen je muren zullen ze je vertrappen...
Jou en je kinderen.
En ze zullen geen enkele steen op de andere laten, omdat je de tijd van Gods komst niet hebt opgemerkt.
