Peter Declares Jesus to be the Christ
Jesus asks who the crowds say He is. Peter speaks up immediately. He claims that some in the crowds say Jesus is John the Baptist. Others say He's Elijah. Others say that one of the prophets from centuries ago has come back to life. Jesus solemnly asks who Peter would say He is. Without hesitation, Peter says Jesus is God's Messiah. Jesus stares back at him.

শ্বেয়াৰ কৰকএদিন যীচুৱে নিৰ্জন ঠাইত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা সময়ত শিষ্য সকলো তেওঁৰ লগত আছিল, সেই সময়ত তেওঁ শিষ্য সকলক সুধিলে, “লোক সকলে মোক কোন বুলি কয়?” তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “যোহন বাপ্তাইজক, কিন্তু আন কিছুমানে এলিয়া বুলি ভাৱে, আন কিছুমানে পূৰ্বকালৰ ভাববাদী সকলৰ কোনো এজন পুনৰায় জীৱিত হৈ উঠা লোক বুলি ভাবে।” তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক সুধিলে, “কিন্তু তোমালোকে নো মোক কোন বুলি ভাবা?” তাতে পিতৰে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “ঈশ্বৰৰ অভিষিক্ত, খ্ৰীষ্ট।” তেতিয়া এই কথা কাকো নকবলৈ তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক সাৱধান কৰি আদেশ দিলে; আৰু তেওঁ ক’লে, “মানুহৰ পুত্ৰই অনেক দুখ ভোগ কৰিব লাগিব আৰু পৰিচাৰক, প্ৰধান পুৰোহিত আৰু বিধানৰ অধ্যাপক সকলৰ দ্বাৰাই তেওঁ অগ্ৰাহ্য আৰু হত হৈ তৃতীয় দিনা উত্থিত হব লাগিব।”
