イエス、5,000人の飢えを満たす
イエスと弟子たちは、田舎を歩き続けます。大勢の人の群れが彼らについて来ます。ペテロが来て、イエスに人々を追い返すようイエスに頼みます。 イエスは弟子達に、食べ物と地元の農家や村人の家でどこか泊まる場所を見つけるように言います。イエスは振り返り、大勢の人々を見ます。人々はイエスの話を聞きたいので、犠牲を払ってもそこにやって来ているのです。イエスはそれを思いやり、弟子たちに人々に食事をさせるよう指示します。 マグダラのマリアは、パンが少しと魚が２匹あるだけだと伝えます。イエスはかごを取ると、天と人々に向かって、「 地上からパンをもたらす全地の王、主なる神に祝福あれ。」と言います。

シェアAs the day neared its end, the Twelve came to Jesus and said, “Dismiss the crowd so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside for lodging and provisions. For we are in a desolate place here.” But Jesus told them, “You give them something to eat.” “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered, “unless we go and buy food for all these people.” (There were about five thousand men.) He told His disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.” They did so, and everyone was seated.
