人をつまづかせる者はいまわしい
イエスに従う人々が湧き水でよごれを落とし、休憩しています。イエスは近くに立ち、祈っています。アンデレは、祈りを教えてくれるようイエスにお願いします。 イエスは、弟子たちと田舎を歩きながら、これからは誘惑があることを彼らに教えます。人々を罪に陥れる状況が起こるだろう。しかし、弟子たちは決してその原因になってはいけない。 イエスは群衆の方を見て、他の人のつまずきや信仰を失わせる原因になるよりも、人は首に大きな石を掛けて、海に投げ込まれるほうが良い、と語ります。
